Mark I. Jones

Mark I. Jones, age 61, of Eaton, OH, passed away on February 22, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 30, 1957 in Cincinnati, OH. Mark was a U.S. Army Veteran; was a member of the American Legion Post #215, Eaton; was a former volunteer firefighter for the City of Eaton; and was a truck driver for Brown Transport for many years. He was preceded in death by his brothers Timothy, Jamie, Thomas and Joseph Jones; and brother-in-law Paul Mullinix. He was the son of Lewis (Margaret) Jones and Joann Campbell Jones (Bev Brubaker). He is also survived by his children: Mark Anthony (Amanda) Jones, Wendy (Matthew) McHugh, Bill (Robyn) Ritter, Jessica (Justin) Guizzo and Sarah (Steven) Bowman; grandchildren Cara, Gweneth, Grant Edward, Leah Rose, Gabrielle William, William Troy, Scotty, Jack and Desi; great grandson Brody; siblings: Kimberly Tufts, Tamara Mullinix, Anthoney (Cliff Schrock) Cadwalleder, Jennifer (Elisa Malin) Jones, Julie (Paul) Ossmann, Jessica Jones and Jacqueline (Brian) Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton with Pastor Gerald Sadai officiating. Private interment will take place at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Fire Division or Hospice of Dayton.
