Mark A. Suggs, age 57, of West Alexandria, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Dayton VA Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. Mark was born December 23, 1954 in Hamilton, OH to Patricia C. LeHunt of Eaton and Robert L. Suggs of West Alexandria. He attended Eaton High School and served in the US Army from 1974 to 1976 when he was honorably discharged. Mark was an exceptionally talented man who could repair almost anything. He worked various jobs including Carter Ford, M & S Body Shop and Dayton Flexible. Mark is survived by the love of his life Tina Stidham; daughter Lindsey Suggs of West Alexandria; sons Michael Suggs of New Lebanon, Jason (Rachel) Stidham of Eaton and Jamie Stidham of West Alexandria; grandchildren Cheyanne Stidham, Cassie Stidham and Chloe George; his parents; sister Patsy (Brian) L. Wygle of Maryland; brother Michael R. Suggs of New Paris; half-sister Bobbi (Rich) Huffman of West Alexandria; nieces Stacy, Heidi, Hillary and Allison; nephew Scott; great nieces Abbi, Sydney and Daisy; great nephew Wilson; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Tony. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH with Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating.
