Marla J. (Murphy) Williams

Marla J. (Murphy) Williams, age 63 of Middletown, Ohio formerly of Gratis, Ohio passed away September 14, 2022. She was born August 13, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio daughter of Leo and Markie Murphy.

Marla was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed working as a beautician for several years. She also enjoyed cooking, art, and spending time with her family.

Marla was preceded in death by her father, Leo Murphy; and granddaughter, Amelia.

She is survived by her daughter, Aimee Lanford (Richard Davis Sr.); grandchildren, Hannah, Seth, and Richard Jr; mother, Markie Murphy; brother, Glenn (Laura) Murphy; nephews, Shawn (Britney) and Leroy; nieces, Phaun (Stacey) and Sandra (Zackary); great nieces, Aliyah, Payton, and Taylor; great nephew, Caleb; as well as numerous other family members and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:30am to 11:00am at First Brethren Church (100 S East St, Gratis, OH 45330). A Memorial service will begin at 11:00am with Pastor Lynn Mercer officiating.
