Marsie Walworth (Yockey) died peacefully on December 28th, 2018 at Maple Gardens Rehabilitation Center in Eaton, Ohio after a lengthy illness at the age of 56.
She was born on August 30, 1962 in Saginaw, MI. Daughter to Joan Livingston (Yockey) and Phillip R Yockey and graduated from Swan Valley High School in 1980. She is survived by her husband, three children and four grandchildren all in Eaton, OH - Mark Walworth, Jeremy (Amy) Walworth, Josh Walworth, Molly (Zachary) Jordan and her adoring grandchildren Easton and Owen Walworth, and Noah and baby boy Jordan. She also leaves behind in Saginaw, MI her loving mother Joan Livingston, her father Phillip (Sally) Yockey and 3 siblings Phil (Brenda) Yockey, Linda (Dan) Beck and Steve (Laura) Yockey and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Marsie resided in Eaton, Ohio for the past 25 years and previously lived on Navy bases with her husband in FL, VA, IL and CA. Her grandchildren were the “love of her life” and she spent time with them almost every day and she enjoyed dog sitting for many friends and neighbors in Lakengren. She looked forward to her trips most summers to Torch Lake in Northern Michigan with her family. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Lewisburg Community of Faith Church, 400 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH 45338.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
