Marvel K. Jordan

Marvel K. Jordan, age 86, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  She was born November 9, 1936 in Glouster, OH  to the late Clifford and Ruth Watson.  Marvel attended Farmersville First Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Cecelia Slough and Mary Boyd.  She is survived by her daughters Joni Gartrell of Eaton; Julie (Gary) Thacker of Dayton; grandchildren: Bonnie (Ty) Brush, Thomas Brush, Cliff Hawkins, Emily (Colin) West and Austin Shock; great grandchildren Ashley Brown, Caila Charles, Jamie Charles, Tessa West, Evan Hawkins and Edward Hawkins; and several special nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home (formerly Lindloff-Zimmerman), 113 Ada Doty Street, Gratis, OH with Pastor Vorhis officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to www.gardfuneralhome.com
