Mary Elizabeth Gabbard

Mary Elizabeth Gabbard, age 88 of West Alexandria, Ohio passed away peacefully with her daughter, Donna by her side on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born June 18, 1935 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Waugh) Lynam. Mary was a devoted wife, helpful mother, and loving grandmother. Her grandchildren were her world and she would do anything for them. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, and being a nurse to those in need. She was a faithful Christian, who loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard F. Gabbard; daughter, Melissa Blosser, sisters, Helen Davis and Sally Lynam; and brother, Gary Lynam. She is survived by her children, Donna, Faye, Pamela, Susan, James, and Michael; grandchildren, Chelsie, Zachary, and Leah; as well as numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Leo “Tommy” Lynam Jr.; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home, 67 Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH.
