Mary C. Geeding

Mary C. Geeding, age 96, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton.  She was born June 30, 1925 in Preble County, OH to the late John and Maude (Suman) Aukerman.  Mary was a 1943 graduate of Eaton High School; and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Geeding, Sr.; son Robert Geeding, Jr., granddaughter Cynthia Geeding Johnson; and brothers Charles and Kenneth Aukerman. She is survived by her daughter Becky (Allan) Davis of Eaton; daughter-in-law Betty Geeding of Dayton; grandchildren Mark (Lisa) Geeding of Columbus, OH, Shelly (Cameron) Ruppert of St. Mary’s, OH, Jenny (Keith) Schmidt of Eaton and David (Kelly) Johnson of Columbus, OH; great grandchildren Brendan Geeding, Riley Geeding, Ashley Matthews, Krista Ruppert, Douglas Ruppert, Samuel Ruppert, Jake Ruppert, Tyler Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Abby Johnson, Henry Johnson, Hannah Schmidt and Braden Schmidt. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Mound Hill Cemetery (new section) in Eaton with Pastor Dwight Hanson officiating.  Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
