Mary Jane Pierce, age 82, of Eaton, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born September 1, 1938 in Farmersville to the late Forrest and Agnes (Woltz) Bell. She was a 1956 graduate of Lanier High School where she was a three-year Varsity Cheerleader. She was a member of the Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton and also a member of St. Anne’s Sodality. In her early years, she worked at the Preble County Courthouse; later becoming an LPN Nurse and a nail technician. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas E. Pierce of Eaton; children: Michael (Karen) Pierce of Eaton, Debbie Othersen of Eaton, Sherry (Kevin) Hood of Eaton, Janice (Rick) Buehner of Eaton, Joyce (Gary) Black of Eaton and Cathy (John) Schuck of Liberty, IN; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sister Janet Suman of Eaton; brother Jim (Pam) Bell of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the Visitation Catholic Church, 407 East Main St., Eaton, OH with Father David Doseck and Father Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating.
