THOMPSON, Mata E., from Dayton, OH., formerly of West Alexandria, OH. died Sun. Aug. 16, 2015 in Greene County.  She was born in Preble County, OH.  to  Clara (Jordan) Ehler.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jim Thompson, daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Kim Moyer, Dayton, OH., nieces, Patty Ashworth and family, Bellbrook, OH., Tanya Clary and family, Carmel, IN., and Judy and Darrell Day, West Alexandria, OH. She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister, Francis Ashworth and nephew, Michael Ashworth.  A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wed.
