Matthew Kevin Sokol

Matthew Kevin Sokol, age 54, of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. He was born February 15, 1971 in Tangier, Morocco. Matthew loved playing soccer and golf; enjoyed fishing; and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his father George Sokol; maternal grandmother Edna McDowell; and brothers George Sokol, Jr and Michael Sokol. He is survived by his mother Yvonne Sokol of Eaton; sister Donna Marsh (Daryl) of Eaton; brother Ron Sokol of Clarksville, TN; nephew Jordan Marsh of Eaton; niece Rita Bush of Virginia; aunt Pat Perry of Dallas, TX; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 2:00 pm until time of memorial service at 3:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH.
