Melinda S. Pendergraft, age 49, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 22, 1966 in Dayton, OH. She was a 1984 graduate of Twin Valley South School; was formerly employed at Emery Worldwide Airlines and recently at Silfex (formerly known as Bullen) in Eaton; was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars #155, Farmersville; was a member of American Legion Post #322 Ladies Auxiliary; and was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, Ingomar. She was preceded in death by her mother Karen Bliss and her paternal grandmother Evadean Coffroad. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Terry Pendergraft of West Alexandria; father William Bliss of West Alexandria; daughters Angela McLean of West Alexandria, Buffy Pendergraft of Springfield, Annie Cron of Springfield and Lorrie (David) Tipton of Springfield; son Scott (Tonya) Kimble of Springfield; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister Melissa (George) Cobb of West Alexandria; brother Tom (Irina) Bliss of Dallas, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Laura Cavendish officiating. Burial will be in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5 8 pm at the funeral home with Order of Eastern Stars services at 7:45 pm.
