Nancy Jane Kittle

Nancy “Jane” Kittle, age 88 of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at her residence.  She was born February 7, 1935 in Byron, GA to the late George Wiley and Lena May (Gibson) Hardison.  Jane retired from Miller Supermarket in Eaton after 27 years of employment; she worked for the Preble County Sheriff's Department cooking at the county jail for 5 years; worked for several years at the farmers market in Lakengren; and was a member of the Eaton Baptist Temple.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William G. Kittle; son Mel Joe Kittle; brother George Hardison; and sister Sadie Ramindora.  She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Max) Deisher of Eaton, OH; son William “Billy” Kittle (Kathy) of Eaton, OH; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers Peggy Fromme, Syble Atchinson, Beth Gregory, Murray Hardison and Harry Hardison all of Byron, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home (formerly Lindloff-Zimmerman), 67 W.
