Nancy H. Spence

Nancy H. Spence, age 77, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton.  She was born May 22, 1945 in Peebles, OH to the late Edsel and Pauline Helterbrand.  She was a 1963 graduate of Brookville High School; was a faithful christian; and retired as a file clerk from Sebaly, Shillito and Dyer Law Firm in Dayton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Judy Lambert and brother Ron Helterbrand.  She is survived by her sons Steve Weaver (Arturo Pozo) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Larry Spence of Brookville, OH; daughter Lisa (Brian) Chandler of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Jesika Spence, Josh Chandler and Julianna Chandler; great grandchildren Chloe Rose and Victoria Rose; sisters Phyllis Fryman, Beverly Staley and Debbie (Tony) Denny; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will  be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Gard Funeral Home, 67 W. Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Sabrina Harry officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
