Norma Jean Mallory (nee Ross) age 81 of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Geneva, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home, Eaton, OH. She was born August 7, 1932 in Parma, Missouri to the late Lloyd and Bessie (Silkwood) Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Mallory in 1992; brother, Ted Ross; Sister Geneva Day; Daughter-in-law Peggy Colleen Mallory; two grandsons A. Brian Mooneyham and Bill Essler. She is survived by daughters Dora (Wayne) Pinkstaff of Eaton, OH, Deborah (Todd) England of Wabash, IN, Judith (Wayne) Games of Evansville, IN, and Rebecca (Mike) Pendley of Bowling Green, KY; a son Gary (the late Peggy) Mallory of Geneva, OH; sisters Doris Buford, Alice Osborne and Eunice Groves; 20 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Norma is also survived by a very dear and special friend Dick Shank of Eaton, OH. She was a member of the Lakengren Garden Club and the Memorial Baptist Church, Eaton, OH. Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Girton, Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home 226 Main Street, Eaton, OH 45320. Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Brian Underwood officiating. A Graveside service and burial will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH.
