Pearl Friend

FRIEND, Pearl J., age 94, of Carlisle, formerly of Gratis, OH.  passed away Tues. Nov. 17, 2015 in Carlisle.  She was born in Middletown, OH. on Sept. 12, 1921 to Wade and Ruth (Weber) Brown.  Pearl loved life and people.  She laughed often and was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Friend, and by special cousins, Eleanor Walter, Miriam Kelhoffer and Kenneth Brown.  She is survived by 3 sons, Darrell (Shelley) Friend, Middletown, OH., Lloyd (Diana) Friend, Waynesville, OH., Jerry (Gwen) Friend, Middletown, OH., sister, Ruth Mullins, also of Middletown, OH., 3 grandchildren, Rhonda Friend Fields, Jimmy Friend, Mike Friend and 3 great grandchildren, Zach, Ryan and Josh Friend.
