Peggy J. Hayes

Peggy J. Hayes, age 65, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 24, 2018. She was born September 12, 1953 in Henry County, IN to the late William Luther and Lura Loree (Oler) Williams. Peggy was a 1971 graduate of Eaton High School. She worked several years for Dr. Cook and Dr. Meyer Optometry offices in Eaton; later retiring in 2013 from Eaton Community Schools as an Assistant Treasurer. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron Hayes of Eaton; son Donnie Hayes of Germantown; granddaughter Callie Hayes and her mother Keri Hayes of Oakwood; sisters Carol (Bill) Murphy of Eldorado, Barb (David) Ferriell of Eaton and Judy (Marty) Donovan of Stafford, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4:00 pm until time of memorial service at 6:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH with Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating.
