Phyllis E. Henn

Phyllis E. Henn, age 79, of West Manchester, OH, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 19, 2014. She was born September 15, 1934 in Preble County to the late Samuel and Dorothy Harris. Phyllis was a 1952 graduate of Monroe High School; she retired from the Preble County District Library as Librarian of the West Manchester Branch; she was a member of the United Church of Christ, West Manchester, OH where she also served as church organist; she was volunteer at Wayne Hospital, Greenville, OH for the last 15 years; and she was a member of the American Legion Post #665 Ladies Auxiliary of West Manchester. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Everett S. Henn of West Manchester, OH; daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Brian Robinson of West Manchester, OH; grandson Nathan McDermitt of West Manchester, OH; and sister Martha Harris of Richmond, IN. Friends will be received on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 2:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, with Pastor David Ireton officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Township Cemetery, Eldorado, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Preble County District Library.
