Raymond F. Vonderhaar, age 82, of Camden, OH passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Woodland Country Manor in Somerville, OH. He was born July 16, 1935 in Hamilton, OH to the late Fred J. and Carolyn (Nostheide) Vonderhaar. He was a member of the Visitation Catholic Church, Eaton, OH and the Camden Lions Club. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Carl, Leo and Vincent Vonderhaar; sisters Imelda Vonderhaar and Helen Hoffman; and nephew Daniel Vonderhaar. He is survived by his sister Germaine Vonderhaar of Camden, OH; brothers Father Gene Vonderhaar of Bradford, OH and Len (Charlotte) Vonderhaar of Camden; 14 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; and special friends Bill and Janet Lybrook. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. James Thomson and staff for the special care provided to Ray. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at the Visitation Catholic Church, 407 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. A committal service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel in Cincinnati, OH. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting with arrangements.
