Richard L. "Dick" Collins

Richard L. “Dick” Collins, age 85, of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  Dick was born on December 15, 1936 in to the late Lucion and Cecile Collins of Gratis.  He was a graduate of Lanier High School in West Alexandria, and retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation.  Dick is survived by his wife of 48 years Marilyn Collins of Eaton; stepdaughter Yolanda (Doug) Haston of Eaton; and sister Janet Diehl of Dayton and her family.  He also was survived by his children Cindy Roberts, Marty Collins and Keri McQuiston.  A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Eaton Fire & EMS, 324 N.
