Richard L. Shaw, age 78, of Eaton, OH and formerly of Jacksonville, FL passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1942 in Alma, MI to the late Delos and Clelia Shaw. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served 20 years; was a member of the American Legion #665 West Manchester, OH; was a truck driver for many years and worked construction for W.W. Gay Construction Company in Jacksonville, FL; was a member of the Pipe Fitter Union; and was avery faithful member of the Eldorado Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Gary Shaw, Bobby Shaw and Doug Shaw; and sister Patty Shaw. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Flo Shaw of Eaton; daughter Angie (James) Taylor of Greenville, OH; son Richard Keith (Nicole) Damon of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Anthony Selvera Damon, Austin Taylor, Benjamin Oliver Damon, Emma Sophia Damon and Jack Travis Damon; brother Scott Shaw of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and two special grand-dogs Rocky and Jackson. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 10:30 am until time of funeral service at 11:30 am at the Eldorado Baptist Church, 124 North Main Street, Eldorado, OH with Pastor Scott Moler officiating.
