Robert E. Geeting

Robert E. Geeting, age 83, of Eaton, OH, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. He was born February 5, 1938 in Eaton, OH to the late John and Edith Geeting. Robert was a 1956 graduate of Eaton High School; he was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Eaton, OH, a lifetime farmer in Preble County and 63 year employee of United Producers Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Harold Geeting; sister-in-law Brenda Geeting; wife Laura M. Geeting. He is survived by his son John Geeting of Reynoldsburg, OH; daughter Cynthia (Greg) Schiefer of Nevada, OH; grandchildren Grace, Caitlin and Nathaniel Schiefer and Adam Geeting; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.,Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Lutheran Drive, Eaton, OH 45320 with Rev. Dwight Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W.
