Robert A. Hopkins

Robert A. Hopkins, age 68, of Eaton, OH and formerly of North Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was born June 4, 1945 in Dayton, OH to the late Anthony P. and Ora E. (Amburgy) Hopkins. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Christopher A. Hopkins, who passed away in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Shara A. Hopkins of Eaton, OH; daughter Amy Hopkins-Hull of Springboro, OH; stepdaughters Lari (Dave) Garten and Angie Weiss; brother Tony (Judy) Hopkins; sister Linda (Brad) Buechter; 6 grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:45 pm on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH with Pastor Wayne Gardner officiating.
