Robert E. Mize

Robert E. Mize, age 79, of Eaton, OH passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 2, 1935 in Richmond, IN to the late Walter and Mary (Kirtz) Mize. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army; a retiree from Browning Distribution, Eaton, OH; a former member of Eaton Kiwanis, and member of AMVETS, Eldorado, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Vicie Jane Mize. He is survived by his wife Donna Mize, whom he married on May 22, 1971; children: Douglas (Teresa) Mize of Eaton, OH, Craig (Kristien) Mize of Kalamazoo, MI; and Tina, Robbie, Tony, Pam, Mary Candi and Robin all of Texas; grandchildren Stosha, Mashea, Kyla, Tai, Zane, Devin, Miranda and other numerous grandchildren; great grandchild Allainna; sister-in-law Brenda (Steven) Fisher; and nieces Stephanie and Brittney. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 4:00 pm until time of funeral services at 7:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street Eaton, OH with Pastor Trevor Bridgeford officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
