Robert L. Phelps

Robert L. Phelps, age 71, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center, Eaton, OH. He was born October 16, 1942 in Dayton, OH to the late Donald and Violet (Neuman) Phelps. Robert was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James R. Phelps; and stepmother Mary Margaret Phelps. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Mary and Denver Abner of Eaton, OH; sister Shirley A. Phelps of Eaton, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and all his loving Greenbriar Nursing Center family who cared for him many years. Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Ronnie Baker officiating.
