Rodney W. Rader

Rodney Wayne Rader, age 53, a long time resident of Morning Sun, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2024, at 12:20am at UC Medical Center. He was born to Patricia and the late Prentice Rader in Hamilton, Ohio, on September 3, 1971.

Rodney was the most loving and loyal husband; A provider, protector, and caretaker. He was devoted to his family, always putting their needs above his own. He walked through life helping others without the expectations of anything in return. Rodney was a hunting and fishing enthusiast, passing down his passions to his children and grandchildren. He was the anchor and the heart of his family, he leaves behind a void that can never be filled.

Rodney is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 34 years, Heather, whom he married on September 1, 1990, in Morning Sun, Ohio; his children Scott Rader (Amber) and Samantha Oyler (Tyler), four grandchildren, Leo, Evren, Millie, and Olivia; his mother, Patricia Stewart (Rick), brother, Randy Rader, and his most beloved dog, Ellie May.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Prentice Rader, his paternal and maternal grandparents, Frederick and Nettie Rader and Irvin and Clista Steele.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
