Ronald Akers

AKERS, Ronald L., age 71 of Cassville, MO., died suddenly Tues. Aug. 7, 2012 in Eaton, OH.  He was born Jan. 17, 1941 in Gratis, OH. to Lloyd and Bessie (Lane) Akers.  He was a graduate of Lanier High School and had worked for NCR for 15 years, after which he was self-employed as a carpenter and heavy equipment operator.  He is survived by his wife, Sherri Akers,  3 children, Melinda MtCastle, MO., Lori Akers, Morrow, OH.,  and Amber Akers, Dayton, OH.  his brothers, Charlie Akers, West Alexandria, OH.,  Maurice Akers, Middletown, OH. and 3 sisters, Jo Dillon, Eaton, OH., Lillian Papie, New Lebanon, OH. and Margaret Oda, Tamarac, FL., grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Vernice Akers, Roscoe Akers and  sister, Geri Akers.  Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wed.
