Rosalyn R. Reynolds, age 78, of Eaton, OH went peacefully to her heavenly home with her Lord Jesus on September 10, 2022. She was loved, cared for, and surrounded by her family. She was born on June 25, 1944 in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late Clyde Elias Oller and Ila Rose (Powell) Oller. Rosalyn attended the First Church of God in Newton Falls, OH, where she accepted Christ as her Savior and where she eventually met, fell in love with, and married Jerry A. Reynolds on June 6, 1970. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage together. When Jerry eventually followed his call into ministry, Rosalyn served faithfully as a pastor’s wife in churches in Massillon, OH; Greentown, OH, and in Eaton, OH. Rosalyn was always active in church serving in various capacities as a Sunday School teacher, nursery worker, children’s worker, and involved in many other activities and ministries in the church. She also worked at the Preble County Children’s Home as the morning supervisor for 14 years until it closed in 2002. Rosalyn loved to travel, cook, and bake. Her family and friends enjoyed many Thursday pizza nights, Sunday dinners, and small group meetings in her home. Rosalyn was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Francis Oller and Paul Oller; and three sisters: Harriet Daugherty, Helen Smith, and Anna Sheesley. She is survived by her husband Rev. Jerry Reynolds; one daughter: Angela Sagesse (Wilsage) of Wakefield, RI; three sons: Allan (Beth) Reynolds of New Paris, OH, Danny (Brionne) Reynolds of Eaton, OH, and Dennis (Brittiny) Reynolds of Atwater, OH; one sister: Jean (Fred) Dickson of Warren, OH; two brothers: Clyde L. Oller of Vienna, OH, and Eugene Oller of Leavittsburg, OH; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Eaton First Church of God, 601 East Lexington Road, Eaton, OH. Funeral service for Rosalyn will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 15, 2022 also at the church with Pastor Aaron Holman officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
