Ruby Marie Cooper

COOPER,  Ruby Marie, age 99 of Gratis, OH, died Wed. May 8, 2013 in Eaton.  She was born in Gratis on Dec. 1, 1913 to Pearl and Orpha (Parrish) Butts.  She was a graduate of Gratis High School and worked for McCall Corporation, was a cook at Gratis School and worked at Gratis Post Office.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cooper in 1999.  She is survived by her son, Jack (Dorothy) Cooper, Gratis, OH. 2 daughters, Phyllis Cooper Monroe, Eaton, OH. and Delores Duncil, Gratis, OH., 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.  She was also a member of First Brethren Church, Gratis, OH,.  Ruby was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, Cheryl Fudge and Karen Nicson, brother, Donald Butts, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Weaver and Irene Steel. Funeral services will be held 12:30 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, OH.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH.
