Ruskin Donald Moore

Ruskin Donald Moore, age 95, of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on January 7, 1926 in Fountain City, IN to the late Arthur and Sarah Moore. Don was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during WWII; was a graduate of The Ohio State University where he retired as a Emeritus faculty member and as an agriculture economics specialist. He was a faithful member of the Eaton Community Church. He also enjoyed traveling, music, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Georgia Fay Moore; son David Moore; 15 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son Donald (Sylvia) Moore of Clarksville TN; three daughters Sharon (Mike) Cobb of Eaton, OH, Susan (Bill) Largent of Orange, CA and Tami Moore of Orange, CA; daughter-in-law Holly Moore of Brookville, OH; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Eaton Community Church, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH with his grandson Pastor Sterling Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Hollansburg Cemetery in Darke County. Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting with arrangements.
