Ruth Ann Ehler

Ruth Ann Ehler, age 78, of Eaton, OH and formerly of West Alexandria, OH passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.  She was born September 10, 1942 in Dayton to the late Harold and Helen Pierce.  She was an avid bowler and competed in many tournaments throughout the United States.  She dearly loved spending time with her family and friends.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David F. Ehler of Eaton; daughter Robin (Bud) Robbins of West Alexandria; daughter Cindy (Bob) Smith of West Alexandria; son Tom (Kristin) Ehler of West Alexandria; son Dan (Vicki) Ehler of West Alexandria; son Mike (Amy) Ehler of West Alexandria; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; brothers Tom Pierce of Eaton and Bob (Sue) Pierce of Eaton; sister Mary Alice Pollard of Waynesville; sister-in-law Irene Graham of Centerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to services on Wednesday all at the funeral home.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family asks that you please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Gala of Hope Foundation, 3500 Pentagon Blvd, Suite 500, Beavercreek, OH 45431 or Preble County Council on Aging, 800 East St. Clair Street, Eaton, OH 45320.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
