Ruth D. Braughton

Ruth D. Braughton, age 77, of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of New Paris, OH passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 in Jacksonville. She was born April 24, 1934 in Preble County, OH to the late Newt and Margaret (Botkins) Anderson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Paris, OH. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Braughton; daughter Pamela Sue Dillon; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Connie (Rick) Martin of Eaton, OH; grandsons Marc Davis, Cory Herrmann, Kyle Herrmann, Ryan Dillon, Justin Dillon and Josh Dillon; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH. Friends will be received from 6 – 8 P.M. on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
