Ruth Ann Stubblefield

Ruth Ann Stubblefield, age 83, of Urbana, OH and formerly of Eaton, OH passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  She was born on April 27, 1939 in Dayton to the late John and Marie (Church) Reid.  Ruth and her husband Ronald owned and operated an upholstery and refinishing business for 40 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Stubblefield; daughter Teresa Howington; granddaughter Jessica Falla; grandson Cameron Rake; and sisters Lucky Marcum and Verla Ross.  She is survived by her children: Regina (Ron) Pease of New Lebanon, Judy (David) Meyer of Arcanum, Donna Tabor of Dayton, Tracy Rake of Marryville, TN and Ron (Kim) Stubblefield of Urbana; son-in-law Horace Howington; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; brother John (Barbara) Reid of Trotwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home (formerly Lindloff-Zimmerman), 67 W.
