Ruth (Golden) Swank

Ruth (Golden) Swank, age 89, of Clearwater, FL and formerly of Lewisburg, OH, passed away May 19, 2012 in Clearwater. She was born April 30, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to the late Maxwell E. and Hazel M. (Siler) Golden. For many years, Ruth was the owner and operator of the B & D Upholstery Shop in Lewisburg, OH. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Percy A. “Duke” Swank, who passed away in 1991; an infant son; sister Lilah Mae Baker; brother Donald Golden; and son-in-law Randy Roe. She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Lucky) Roe-Mends of Clearwater, FL; son Mike (Sue) Swank of Eaton, OH; grandchildren John Swank, Luke Swank, Jacob Swank, Leslie (Stacy) King, Debra (Ken) Burnett and Angie (Shane) Chandler; 7 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Bear Creek Cemetery, Union Road, Dayton, OH.
