Scott Edward Worley, age 89, of Eaton, OH passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 16, 1935 in Eaton to the late Walter Scott and Ruby E. (Bell) Worley. Scott was a graduate of Eaton High School; was a U.S. Navy Veteran; he was the owner and operator of Scotty’s Barber Shop in Eaton for 47 years; was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church where he taught Sunday School for 27 years; and was a member of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge in Eaton, Scottish Rite and Antioch Shrine where he played in the Antioch Brass Band for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the two ladies that raised him, grandmother Edna Bell and aunt Ruth Coleman; brothers Eddie Flory, Robert Flory, Jim Flory; and sister Becky Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Huechting Worley of Eaton; daughter Marty (Lynn) Olinger of Eaton; grandson Andy (Amber) Borgwardt of Eaton; great granddaughter Braeden Borgwardt of Eaton; brother Joe (Debbie) Flory of Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria. Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
