Sherly Ann Carroll

Carroll, Sherly Ann (Hawley), age 82, of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Hospice in Reid Hospital of Richmond, IN. She was born on April 11, 1933 in West Alexandria, Preble County, OH. She was the daughter of the late Clifford M. & Ethel Marie (Askins) Hawley Sr.
Sherly retired from General Motors. Preceded in death by her husband, James; both parents; daughter, Gwenn Smith in 1991; brothers, Robert E. Hawley, James L. Hawley, Warren F. Hawley, Clifford M. Hawley Jr., David L. Hawley; and sisters, Doris J. Mato and Mary E. Little.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Teresa Gordon, Cynthiana, KY; Vicki (Arnold) Martinez, Houston, TX; Debbie Garland, San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Marvin Hawley, Thomas (Lorry) Hawley, Kenneth Allen Hawley; 3 sisters, Lova (Albert) Overholts, Kathryn (Thomas) Duncan, Claudia (Phil) Hurst; nieces, nephews, and special friend Scott.
She touched many people’s lives and will be missed by family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at the West Alexandria American Legion Post #322 on Sunday, August 2nd from 2-6pm.
