Stephen Douglas Winn, age 50, of Eaton, OH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Steve is survived by his parents: Marlene Frantz and Dale Winn; his children: Stephen and wife Cassie, Garrett and Grace; sister Kelly Montgomery and husband Dave, brothers Gregg and wife Barb, and Jeff; several nieces, a nephew and great niece; and loving friend and companion Shannon Powell. He was also proud to be the grandfather of his first grandson, Zion James Winn. You could often find Steve floating on a tube on Lake Cumberland, laying on the beach on Anna Maria Island, or in the Sandbar at a Kenny Chesney Concert. Steve never knew a stranger; no matter what, he always found a way to make people feel heard, seen and cared for. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Eaton Church of the Brethren, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH. Burial will be private at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the church. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
