Steven C. Toler

Steven C. Toler, age 60, of South Lebanon, OH and formerly of Gratis, OH passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023.  He was born on August 21, 1963 in Dayton, OH.  Steve loved his family beyond measure, he was always there to help family and friends if they needed him.  He was a mechanic for most of his life.  He loved racing, working on cars and car shows.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and turkey shoots.  He will be forever missed.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother Maryetta (Whisman) Ferris; father Harrison Toler; brothers Ova Toler, James Toler, Kenneth Toler and Larry Toler; and nieces Takhera McGlothin and Samantha Toler.  He is survived by wife Melissa Toler; daughter Amanda Coomer; son Steven C. “Stevie” Toler; stepchildren Brandon, Clayton, Haley and Kelsey; sister Robyn (Randy) Combs; brothers Samuel (Lois) Toler, Tony Toler and Richard Toler; nephews John Wesley McGlothin, Timothy McGlothin, Dustin McGlothin and Samuel Toler, Jr.; and three children that he raised as his own: Rodney, Mikey and Chris; and numerous other nieces and nephews.  No services.  Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gratis are assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
