Terry L. Pendergraft

Terry L. Pendergraft, age 69, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 21, 1955 in Springfield, OH to the late Wilbur and Pauline (Blake) Pendergraft. Terry was a 1974 graduate of Springfield High School; was a U.S. Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion Post #322, West Alexandria, AMVETS, Preble County Disabled American Veterans #104, Eaton and past member of the Preble County Honor Guard; he was a member of the Lanier Township Board of Elections; he worked at Emery Worldwide Airlines for many years and later served as the Director of the Preble County Veteran Services, retiring in 2016. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Melinda Pendergraft; sister Gina Bowen; and brothers Jimmy Pendergraft and Mickey Pendergraft. He is survived by his daughters Annie (Keith) Smith, Scott (Tonya) Kimble, Lorrie (David) Tipton, Buffy Pendergraft, Angela (Logan) McLean; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; girlfriend Margie Stevenson; sisters Karen Riley, Rhonda Clark, Linda McMurray; numerous nieces and nephews; and special dogs Lucy and Lulabelle. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Funeral service for Terry will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 13, 2025 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria.
