Terry L. Purtee

Terry L. Purtee, age 66, of Greenville, OH, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 3, 1945 in Richmond, IN to the late Ollie E. and Julia B. (Green) Purtee. Terry was a 1963 graduate of Monroe High School, Preble County, OH; was a U.S. Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War; was an avid bicyclist and fisherman; had been employed with Masters Industries, Cadillac Gauge, and retired from TE-CO Company of Vandalia, OH. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diana M. Purtee of Greenville, OH; son Craig (Kelly) Purtee of Centerville, OH; daughter Cheryl (Patrick) Hays of Phoenix, AZ; son Clint (Heather) Purtee of Elida, OH; grandsons Andrew, Samuel and Caleb Purtee; aunt Nell Tillett of Huber Heights, OH; and numerous cousins. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Wares Chapel Cemetery, West Manchester, OH with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
