Thelma Doran Bolinger, age 91, of Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was born October 29, 1920 in Hilton, Virginia to Kelly and Ethel Hensley Doran, moving to Ohio at the age of five. She graduated from Dixon High School in 1938 and worked for the International Harvester Company and Belden Manufacturing Company. She married Emerson Bolinger on December 12, 1953. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eaton, Ohio since 1951. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Emerson, who passed away in March of 1988; sisters Evelyn Richardson and Phyllis Smith; brother William “Bill” Doran; stepson Shubert Bolinger; stepdaughter Patty Shillingburg; and step daughter-in-law Lorna Bolinger. She is survived by her sister Cledith Bresher; brother Russell Doran; brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Rosalie Doran; stepson Charlie Bolinger; stepdaughter-in-law Maureen Bolinger; sister-in-law Sandra Doran; nephews Michael and Russell Doran, Tom and Kelly Doran, Nicholas and Michael Doran and Donald and Charlie Smith; and nieces Sue Ammerman, Pat Sims, Debbie Dykes, Gayle Poland, Becky Koontz, Marty Bresher, Karen Renshaw, Kathy Smith and Kim Kutter. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH with Rev. Fred Hill officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the funeral home.
