Thomas D. Crank, age 73, of Eaton, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 21, 1945 in Richmond, IN to the late Floyd and Gladys (Wilson) Crank. He was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren, Eaton, OH. He was a truck driver for almost 50 years with various transportation companies including U.S. Corrugated, Brown Transport, Carl S. Akey Transportation, Garber Ag Freight and most recently Camping World of Richmond. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Leslie Renee Crank; and brothers Gordon Crank and Darrell Crank. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Naomi Crank of Eaton; daughter Roberta (Scott) Garrett of Eaton; daughter Gail (Steve) Derr of Arcanum; son Thomas Crank, Jr. of Benton, KY; son Andrew (Lindsay) Crank of Richmond, IN; daughter Yvonne (Elias) Edenstrom of Versailles, KY; daughter Audra (Jeff) Hollowell of Eaton; daughter Sonya (Christian) Kovach of Eaton; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Brenda (Dale) Overholts of Indiana and Rhonda (Doug) Price of New Paris; brother Kirk (Mary) Crank of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Eaton Church of the Brethren, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH with Pastor Dan Denlinger officiating. Burial will be at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the church.
