Vernon “Mike” Perry, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2024 at his home. He was born in Dayton, OH on May 18, 1972 to his parents Kathy Crouch Heffelfinger and Fred Perry (Shawnee Tucker). In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather Jerry Heffelfinger; brothers Freddie Perry (Renee Browning) and Brad Crouch; sisters Brandi Perry and Jesica (Jason) Peters; best buddy Shawnee Tucker; best friend and former wife Rae Anna Buehner; son Joseph Sears; daughter Elizabeth (Aaron) Creager; grandsons Ethan, Kaileb, Garrett, Lenox and Madox; and numerous other friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James and Janis (Patrick) Crouch; paternal grandparents Edward and Lizzie (Blevins) Perry and Florence (Gorman) Perkins; and stepmother Terri Perry. Mike was a mechanic, truck driver, and Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, riding alongside his faithful companion “Baby Girlie”. He was also an avid demolition derby driver for over 30 years, recognized by his number “440” and his motto, “Ain’t Goin’ Peacefully” or AGP. God made sure Mike did just the opposite. You will be missed and remembered by everyone, fly high Mikie. There will be no funeral service, a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
