Vickey J. Washington

Vickey J. Washington, age 61, of Eaton, OH, passed away September 30, 2013 at the Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was born October 17, 1951 in Campbell County, TN to the late Murley and Oma (Smith) Bunch. Vickey worked for many years at Millers Hallmark Store in Eaton; she was former owner of Vickeys Gift Gallery located in Eaton; and she currently worked at the Wal-Mart store in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Minton Bunch; and sisters Janie VanWinkle and Carolyn Gadd. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tim Washington of Eaton; daughter Renea (Chris) Smith of Eaton; grandson Trevor Smith of Eaton; sisters Fay (Gene) Wolf of West Alexandria, Glenna (Donald) Rife of Xenia, OH, Pat (Ray) Paul of LaFollette, TN, Cathy (Don) Shanteau of LaFollette, TN and Dean (Wayne) Gibson of LaFollette, TN; mother-in-law and father-in-law Charles and Mary Washington of West Alexandria; special friend Jan Mulcahey of Camden; and numerous brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor John Swint officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the funeral home.
