Virginia F. Wehrly of Lake Lakengren, Eaton, Ohio, died April 6, 2014 in Richmond, Indiana. She was the daughter of Roy and Bertha Haney of Radford, Virginia and was born July 3, 1922. She was united in marriage February 9, 1946 to Henry P. Wehrly of Eaton, Ohio. Her husband, Henry, parents and two brothers, of Virginia, are deceased. She is survived by three children: Tom (Anne) Wehrly of College Station, TX; Sue (Dave) Knoll of Eaton, OH; and John (Barbara) Wehrly of Hendersonville, NC; eight grandchildren: Rebecca and Sarah Wehrly of College Station, TX; David (Sherry) Knoll of Eaton, OH, Amy (Jason) Halderman of Eaton, OH, Andy (Jodi) Knoll of Leander, TX, and Lesley Knoll (Aaron Hebbeler) of Lake Ariel, PA; Beth (Ben) Caston of Reston, VA and Kristin (Drew) Fleming of Burlington, NC; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and always loved being surrounded by her family. She always kept very active and enjoyed walking, exercise, golf, reading and playing cards. Virginia was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Eaton. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Chris Farmer officiating. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
