Wanda J. McGowan

Wanda J. McGowan, age 69, of Eaton, OH, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 6, 1944 in Dayton to the late Harland Brown and Gladys May Tharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Larry Tharp. She is survived by her daughters Penny (Michael) Wise of New Paris and September (Mark) Schaffer of Eaton; grand-daughter August Rose of Eaton; 4 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren; sisters Kathy Jones of Topeka, KS and Sharon (Robert) Brookey of New Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 11:00 am until time of funeral Services at 1:30 pm at the Girton Schimdt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev.
