Wanetta Marie Melling

Wanetta Marie Melling, age 82, of Eaton, OH, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012. She was born June 22, 1929 in New Paris, OH to the late Wilbert and Martha Francis (Brower) Davis. She was retired from the Baxter Company of Eaton after 25 years of employment. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband John F. Melling, Sr. who passed away November 11, 1984; sisters Betty Davis, Rosemary Davis, Gertrude Garner and Opal Sheard; and brothers Raymond Davis and Paul Davis. She is survived by her sons John F. (Paula) Melling, Jr. of Eaton, OH and Anthony Wayne (Marilyn) Melling, Sr. of Eaton, OH; grandchildren, Scott L. Melling, Kurt A. (Kelly) Melling, Jenna (Jeff) Foust, Anthony Wayne (Tina) Melling, Jr. and Kevin J. (Stacey) Melling, Sr.; great grandchildren, Kyle Melling, Melissa Melling, Ann Marie Bierly, Josh Bierly, Catherine Melling, Trisa (Jonathan) Deaton, Casey Stigleman, Hailey Stigleman, Justin Foust, Contessa Melling, Kevin J Melling, Jr. and Cassidy Melling; one expecting great great granddaughter; sister Barbara Clayman of Cleveland, TN; brother Richard (Rita) Davis of New Madison, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Girton Schimdt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
