Wayne Hugh Griffey

Wayne Hugh Griffey, age 60 of Somerville, OH passed away at his home with his sister by his side on March 5, 2023. He was born February 12, 1963 in Middletown, OH son of the late William and Ada Griffey.  Wayne was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed camping, hiking, reading cookbooks, playing video games, and spending time with his family. Wayne was a faithful member of the Beechwood Church of God. He was employed at M.A. Folkes Inc. for several years. Wayne will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Griffey. He is survived by his siblings, Jennifer Griffey and Steven (Francenia) Griffey; as well as numerous other family members and friends.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 11am to 12 noon until time of service at 12 noon at Beechwood Church of God (12800 OH-122, Somerville, OH 45064) with Pastor Gary Agee officiating.
