PHILLIPS, Wilbur Lee, age 78, of Dayton, OH. formerly of West Alexandria, died Sunday in Dayton. He was born Nov. 15, 1932 in Dayton to John and Emma (Price) Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a 1951 graduate of West Alexandria High School and had attended Miami Jacobs College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Dayton, OH. and retired after 26 years. He is survived by 3 children, Christopher (Dixie) Phillips, Huntsville, AL., Catherine Phillips, Yellow Springs, OH., and John Phillips, Riverside, OH., step-daughter, Yvonne Campbell, Kettering, OH., mother of John and Yvonne, Leonora Phillips, Riverside, OH., 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters,Betty (Dale) Hypes, Brookville, OH. and Sally Johnson, Germantown, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cynthia Hittle Phillips in 1958. A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2011 at Sugar Grove Cemetery with Rev.
