William Joseph "Bill" Agee, Sr.

William Joseph “Bill” Agee, age 77, of New Lebanon, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born March 4, 1941 in Eaton, OH to the late Virgil and Erma Agee. Bill attended Eaton Schools; was a member of the Camden Masonic Lodge #159, Eaton Chapter #22, Preble Council #135 and Jerusalem Commandry #75 York Rite. He worked for Millwright Local #1066, Custom Industrial Equipment and was a Millwright for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing with his family and friends, gardening, working in the flowers. He also enjoyed his precious children, grandchildren and his little friend Koa. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Donald Agee and Loren Agee; sister Mary Bailey; infant children: Bobby Jo, Virgil Ray and Caroline; and his 4-legged canine buddy “Benny”. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Gardner Agee, whom he married on July 26, 1998; six children: Jacque Agee, William J. Agee Jr. and wife Connie, Mary Ann Agee, Jennifer Agee, Bonnie Agee and Margo McDonald and husband Craig; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Geneva Overholts and Norma Gene Reid; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main St., Eaton, OH with Pastor Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Masonic Services to be held at 7:45 pm by the Camden Masonic Lodge.
