William F. "Bill" Bowers

William F. Bowers, age 101, of Eaton, OH, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. He was born December 15, 1922 in Collinsville, OH to the late Luima C. and Carrie (Weiss) Bowers. Bill was a lifelong Butler/Preble County farmer; was a former partner of Ag Lime Service; and enjoyed dancing with his wife Betty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty (Welborn) Bowers; sisters Luella Irwin and Ruth Schuster; and brother Donald Bowers. He is survived by his daughter Linda (Gary) Woesner of Eaton, OH; son William D. (Janet) Bowers of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Clint (Holly) Woesner, Karah Woesner, Brian (Corie)Woesner, William M. (Amanda) Bowers, Matthew (Betsy) Bowers, Angela (Chris) Cruze, Elisha Cotton and Shawn (Lisa) Cox; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
